Mid-week Message

Greetings!

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” - Philippians 4:7-8

In the service on Sunday, I led the congregation in a breath prayer. The Holy Spirit is the breath of life. A breath prayer helps us connect with the Holy Spirit through our breath. I invite you to try this breath prayer based on Philippians 4:7-8.

Breath in: Come, Holy Spirit, breath of life

Breathe out: let go of tension and stress and worry.

Breathe in - the peace of God

Breathe out - guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus

Breathe in - whatever is true

Breathe out - think about these things

Breathe in - whatever is honorable

Breathe out - think about these things

Breathe in - whatever is just

Breathe out - think about these things

Breathe in - whatever is pure

Breathe out - think about these things

Breathe in - whatever is pleasing

Breathe out - think about these things

Breathe in - whatever is commendable

Breathe out - think about these things

Breathe in - whatever is excellent

Breathe out - think about these things

Breathe in - whatever is worthy of praise

Breathe out - think about these thing

Breathe in - the peace of God

Breathe out - guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus

Amen.
