Mid-week Message

“Praise the Lord! How good it is to sing praises to our God; for God is gracious, and a song of praise is fitting.” - Psalm 147:1

This week, we have great news at Briarwood! This Saturday is so exciting! The Lakeshore Light Opera is back to entertain us with another evening of Celtic Music! What a joy it will be to listen to them sing and to sometimes sing along with these Celtic favourites.

During the difficult years of shutdowns, my colleagues and I would talk about how it’s easy to close things down, but it’s hard to start them up again. Many things that shuttered in the Pandemic have not restarted again. What a gift to all of us that LLO is—again—willing to perform a concert as a fundraiser for our church. We all have such good memories of these concerts. Come on out this Saturday @ 7:30 to celebrate the joy of this Celtic Evening concert again! Bring your friends! Bring your family!
