Friday, Dec. 6th: Service of Remembrance and Reflection to mark the 30th anniversary of the École Polytechnique tragedy. 12:00 - 12:30 pm at St. Columba-by-the Lake, 11 Rodney Ave., Pte-Claire. All are welcome. Info: 514-695-8529.
Saturday, Dec. 7th: Briarwood’s Bake & Preserves Sale
9 am – noon at Briarwood. Proceeds to Briarwood’s general fund.
Sunday, Dec. 8th – Advent II (Peace)
Two worship services at Briarwood – our traditional service at 10:00 am, and contemporary service at 11:30 am, led by student minister Edythe Arnott, with Kids’ Faith Program and nursery space at both. The scriptures are Mark 1:1-4; Psalm 85; Isaiah 40:1-11. Sacrament of Communion at the 11:30 service. Advent ornament craft during fellowship time. Pageant rehearsal during Kids’ Faith Programs. All children are invited to participate! Angel Tree gifts are due back this Sunday, and it is the last day to contribute financially to our Christmas basket fundraiser.
