Saturday, June 2nd:
Ladies’ Breakfast: 9 am at Arcade Basile in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, next to the farmers’ market. Bring a friend!
Small Group Activity: Johanna Gomez will host a sushi-making workshop at Briarwood from 2 - 4 pm. There will also be time for prayer. All are welcome.
Sunday, June 3rd:
Two worship services at Briarwood – our traditional service at 10:00 am and contemporary service at 11:30 am, with children’s faith program and nursery space at both. Rev. Sarina is attending a family wedding, and we welcome Rev. Ian Fraser to the pulpit. The scriptures are 1 Samuel 3:1-10, Psalm 139:1-10 and Luke 4:14-20 – "Listening for a Voice among the Hard of Hearing”. All are welcome to share our monthly Potluck Lunch after the 11:30 service. Kids’ Worship Club at 1:15 with Stevie, and Emotionally Healthy Relationships led by Nancy B. Organ Recital: Raphael Ashby will give an organ recital at 3:00 pm. A freewill donation will be accepted in aid of Briarwood’s general fund.
